The goal of the HBCU Pipeline Program is to increase the number of minority and female students pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Allen University's signature program aims to develop a "pipeline" of students — from middle school to graduate school — who are currently attending, or considering attending, historically black colleges and universities in South Carolina in preparation for careers in STEM fields.
In 2009, TCG began working with Allen University, Columbia South Carolina, in Allen University's role as Administrator of the NNSA/HBCU Pipeline Project. Today, we work directly with Senior Leadership at Allen and other participating universities to develop policies and program activities for students and faculty involved with the "Pipeline."
