Dana B. Stebbins ESQ. | President/CEO
Dana Brewington Stebbins, MSW, Esq. is an attorney with an advanced degree in human behavior. Throughout her career, she has amassed more than 25 years of experience in the fields of law and social policy, the private practice of Real Estate Development and Land-Use law, and professional consulting in Community and Economic Development, Emergency Management, and Legislative Strategy, Government Contracting and Policy on the Local, State, and Federal levels.
She is the President and CEO of The Cornelius Group Inc. (TCG) and The Law Offices of Dana B. Stebbins, Esq. and has served on numerous boards, including Leadership Greater Washington, Melwood, The Parren J. Mitchell Foundation, The Federal City Council, The Maryland Economic Development Corporation, and as a Past Chair of the District of Columbia Chamber of Commerce.
Additionally, Dana has served in all three branches of government: as a Judicial Clerk to Judge William Pryor in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, Legislative Counsel to the House Committee on Small Business when Congressman Parren J. Mitchell was its Chair, and a Presidential appointee to the Small Business Administration and to The Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
Amani M. Stebbins | COO
Prior to joining our team, AmAni M. Stebbins attended Norfolk State University and The University of the District of Columbia majoring in Communications. She has been a member of TCG since 2001, where she serves as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Assistant to the President. Beyond this role, she also provides Consulting Advice on various Projects on an as-needed basis.
Darrel K. Parker | DIRECTOR OF EDUCATIONAL SERVICES
Darrel K. Parker is a graduate of Dillard University and holds a Masters Degree from American University in Special Education. He serves as Co-Director of the Educational Services Department and Head of Mentoring Services, for students participating in the Allen University Pipeline Program.
Debra Brewington Gittens | Management Consultant
Debra Brewington Gittens, M.S.W., a management consultant with more than 20 years of management experience, specializes in executive/personal coaching, strategic planning, organizational development, non¬profit management, human resources management, and training. Prior to establishing The Cornelius Group, she was a senior executive for a national service and training organization (United Way of America) with responsibility for strategic/tactical planning, continuous quality improvement, human resources management, diversity, and executive search services. Previous employment includes Director, Human Resources, United Way of Central Maryland, State Training Support Coordinator, US Virgin Islands Department of Health, and District Supervisor, Youth Services Administration. With more than twenty years of senior management experience within the public and non-profit arenas, she is a graduate of Howard University holding B.A. and Master's degrees in sociology, education and social work. Ms. Gittens is nationally recognized as a skilled facilitator of large and small groups, as well as a creative event/meeting planner.
